The polyamide membrane combines fastest flow with low non-specific binding. Sartorius polyamide is exceptionally pure compared with other common hydrophilic nylon filters. Competitor nylon membranes are using raw materials which are especially interfere with LC | MS. The housing of the filter is made of PP (polypropylene) which is compatibility with harsh solvents, acids and bases.
