Oxoid™ Violet Red Bile Agar (VRBA) (500g) is a selective medium used for the detection and enumeration of coliform bacteria, particularly in food, dairy, and water samples. It is designed to support the growth of Gram-negative, lactose-fermenting coliforms while inhibiting Gram-positive organisms.
